The JH /HS Bobcat Band and Choir had a great time attending the FHSU performance of “The Music Man” at the Felten Start Theater. Students got to experience many of the arts in one production: set design, costuming, lighting, sound production, singing, dancing, orchestra, and drama. Kudos to all those at FHSU involved in putting together this excellent performance! Thank you to Jackie Casey, Rhonda Gabel, and Cheryl Rein for helping sponsor this trip. Thanks also to all those who bought T-shirts and gave donations to our music program. You made this experience possible!

It's National 4-H week! Western Plains South has one very active 4-H member who gave a presentation this morning about joining 4-H. You do not have to live on a farm to join 4-H! There are many different projects that you can do. Some of those include Foods and Nutrition, Visual Arts, Entomology, Rocketry, and much, much more. Each student received information about joining 4-H and a small treat to enjoy.
