Drawing Contest Voting

There are 5 groups to vote for. You can give each image up to 5 stars. The two artworks in each group with the most stars will be our group winners. There will be a second round of voting for our finalists.

Contest Rules

  • Artwork can be no larger than 11x17 and no smaller than 8.5x11 and drawn on white paper.

  • Artists are encouraged to be creative in interpreting the theme“MYTHICAL CREATURES OF FOLKLORE”

  • A “short” message MAY be written with the artwork but is NOT required. The message can be story-based or explanatory.

  • Art Media: Use one or more materials: pencils, watercolor, paints, markers, ink, pastel, chalk, charcoal. BOLD, BRILLIANT & BRIGHT art is preferred!

  • ARTWORK MUST BE ORIGINAL! NO trademarked or copyrighted characters such as Disney, Superheroes, cartoons, etc. No “Copycat” ideas of artwork from other posters or artists. Artwork MUST be truly the work of the student and represent the age, grade, and skill of the student.
