WKLL Academic Testing takes place

On November 27 the Western Plains students took the yearly League Academic tests. The League Academic tests are tests that each school in the league takes to rank the schools academically.

The teachers vote to choose four students from each grade level who they think will do the best on the tests and who will represent Western Plains in a positive way.

Each student had a total of five tests to take and had 40 minutes for each test.

Some of the students found the tests challenging and some didn’t. Sophomore Jaztyn Kisslinger commented, “I find the test challenging because they are timed and I usually take a while to get tests done.” On the other hand, senior Logan Mauch stated, “I didn’t think the test was especially challenging. Most of the questions stay within the limits of high school curriculum.”

Although the tests were long and slightly tedious all of the students enjoyed representing our school. The results will come in soon and all of the students who did an outstanding job will get recognition at awards night.
