Forensics season gets underway

RANSOM & BAZINE- The Fo- rensics season is coming near and many students are very excited for it to begin! So far this year there are fifteen students that have joined the Forensics team.

Sophomore Jaztyn Kisslinger has done Forensics before and enjoys it very much. When Jazzy was asked what she would say to people that aren’t sure about joining Forensics, she exclaimed, “Forensics is a blast! Forensics allows you to express yourself and help you get out of your comfort zone.” When asked what important skills she has learned from being in Forensics she replied, “I have learned many public speaking skills such as speaking loudly, making eye contact with
my audience, and speaking slowly.”

Carlee Flax, another sophomore also enjoys doing Forensics. When Carlee was asked what her favorite memory from Forensics has been so far she commented, “My favorite memory has been competing at the State forensics meet and being able to take a trip for it.” When Carlee was asked what pieces she was doing this season she replied “I plan on doing Extemp and Informative. I am planning on doing Extemp because I really enjoy doing it and I have had success with it in the past. Informative is something new that I want to try.”
