A thank you from the cheerleaders

RANSOM- The junior high and high school cheerleaders have worked hard to raise money for new shoes, socks and undershirts for the junior high and new uniforms for the high school squad.

Throughout November the cheer team did a doughnuts fundraiser which was a big hit and a major profit. The cheer team profited $402.50 from the doughnut sales.

The Western Plains cheer squad includes senior Marteah Morgan and sophomores Jaztyn Kisslinger and Jenna Strickler.

The junior cheer squad includes eighth grader Ella Kisslinger, seventh grader Lilly Payne, and sixth graders Kalihan Flax and Kelsey Wick.

When asked what the cheer squad would use the leftover money for Coach Payne replied with, “The high school squad would like to have cheer jackets and they are hoping to have enough extra to help pay for them.”

Strickler is very happy with the new uniforms.“They are really nice and they fit just right!” she commented.

When asked how did you think the doughnut sales went Jazytn Kisslinger replied with, “I think they were a success and they really helped to raise the money that is so much appreciated.”

Thanks to all who have supported our cheerleaders this year.
