Operation Christmas Child

KAYS is making a difference one step at a time! KAY, or the Kansas Association for Youth, is having a service project called Operation Christmas Child this winter for kids who don’t usually get to experience Christmas.

Operation Christmas Child is a service project in which each class is going to have a shoe box to fill with items. These items include little crafts, personal care items, small articles of clothing, and little toys.

Each class chose whether they wanted a girl or a boy and the age group that they want. The age groups are 2-4, 5-9, and 10-14.

Operation Christmas Child is a fantastic service project that KAYS decided to do. It helps kids all over the world experience something they wouldn’t have experienced otherwise.

The boxes will be taken to a drop-off site and the company will then send the boxes to their final destination.

Thanks to all who donated for the project.
